I was in one of my favourite foodie destinations this afternoon, the David Jones Food Hall.
It was buzzing! I noticed that Sparkle Cupcakery now have a stand in there. There was a big crowd gathering around as they were handing out samples. Personally I'm a bit over cupcakes myself.
I headed across to the cheese section and noticed that they had the Holy Goat brand of goat's cheese in stock. A work colleague recently advised me that Will Studd rates this goats cheese as the best of the best. It's expensive but I couldn't resist as I'd heard such good things about it (btw I tried it when I got home and it's like no other goats cheese I've ever had. Amazing flavour).
My next stop was the fruit and vegetable area. I was pleased to see that they finally have finger limes in stock (Thomas Dux has had them for over a month). Masterchef featured them tonight so I'm glad I stocked up in Thomas Dux yesterday as everyone will now want them.
