La grande bouffe

We had dinner at la grande bouffe in Rozelle tonight.
The dark timber interior and mood lighting gives this restaurant a fantastic ambience.
We were presented with a complementary starter of escargot. I must admit snails aren't really my thing so after having a small try I gave them a miss.
The entree of twice baked goats cheese and summer herb souffle was so light and utterly delicious.
I had fish for mains in a caper sauce with wilted spinach and a dry riesling from the Alsace region.
To finish we shared divine sorbets and icecream including passionfruit and cinnamon.
Great service, great food and an all round fabulous time was had.
