I had the yummiest dinner at Mamak tonight. There is always a huge queue to get in but we were fortunate to be picked out to go straight in as there were only two of us.
I think this is the best roti I have ever eaten. It was as light as air in the middle and crispy on the outside.
The spicy lamb curry had a good kick to it and the meat was melt in the mouth.
We also tried the Nasi Lemak which is considered the most traditional Malaysian dish. It had a lovely combination of flavours including coconut rice, cucumber, peanuts and we opted for a side of sambal prawn.
I can't wait to go back to Mamak, next time I'm saving room for dessert. The tall cone-like sweet roti I saw floating around the floor looked incredible.
