Spice Temple

I had dinner at Neil Perry's Spice Temple tonight. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is fantastic.
I think the only place I have dined that is darker than this is Jimmy Liks.
We ordered a lovely combination of dishes, starting with the salt and pepper silken tofu and the lamb and fennel dumplings. Both dishes were exceptional and sauce accompanying the tofu had a bit of a kick to it.
For mains we had the roast pork belly with coriander, peanut & sesame, the stir fried
wagyu rump with black bean and chilli and the hot & numbing crispy duck. The wagyu beef was incredible and melt in the mouth. The pork belly had a fantastic crunch with a well balanced mix of flavours. The duck for me was the dish of the night. It was twice cooked, crispy and had a szechuan based sauce.

Spice Temple has a very comprehensive wine list that is exactly 100 wines long and fantastic cocktails too.

I had a sneak peak at Rockpool Bar and Grill upstairs when we left Spice Temple. The interior is stunning and the atmosphere was electric with a full house. It has a very impressive looking bar with a display of glassware that has to be seen to be believed.
Wow Neil, you've certainly outdone yourself this time.
