Uccello

I had the pleasure of going back to one of my favourite Italian restaurants on Friday night, Uccello at The Ivy.
New head chef Eugenio Riva (of Ristorante Riva fame) started less than a week ago and I'm pleased to say everything is just as good if not better than before.
They brought out complimentary bread on arrival and a brand new bottle of Joseph extra virgin olive oil was opened at our table for us to dip the bread into.

I had a pasta dish as a main, they all sounded incredible. I selected the pumpkin risotto with seared scallops and truffle butter with a mixed leaf salad.
I couldn't go past Sydney's favourite dessert, the panna cotta. This one was infused with Cointreau and came with blueberries, mandarin and strawberries.

The service is always fantastic at Uccello and I'm pleased to say the food is in very safe hands now that Riva is on board.
